So much for Pork and sauces...

I was asked to participate in the 12 week weightloss competition at my gym, which started on Monday. Great opportunity I think to myself. I need accountability at the gym... and no one seems to want to work out with me... so here, I'll do this, and have 10 people to work out with! Also- the contest ends 2 weeks before I turn 30, so what better way to shed the 35 pounds AND have a fantastic birthday!

Um, except now I can't have: Butter, Cheese, Bread, Potatoes, Rice, Pasta.... basically anything that tastes good... I'm trying to eat 5-6 times a day, but with my schedule, I was lucky to eat once a day.. so this is becoming a challenge, trying to find things I CAN eat, and eating them every 3 hours... i spend most of the day FIXING something to eat! and still hungry.

Morgan and I are also doing a cleansing program to flush the toxins out.... so double wammy, I'm drinking a TON of water... which also makes me not want food..

I fear this is going to ruin my love of food!

Also, we get weighed in on Mondays and on Fridays. Monday's weights are the official website and news report. Friday is to just check up on us. So... Superbowl plans... now can't involve beer, or cheese dip, or wings, or any of the other things I wanted... Maybe I'll just go to the gym 6 times this week instead of the required 4... surely that will give me enough wiggle room for a beer or two...

Catching up

So, blogging may not be the best hobby for me, as I am not one to remember to do this weekly...

2009 has been amazing so far. All in the Details has a few clients already lined up, with more pending approval of proposals submitted last week.

Amber has been sick for about a week now, and tonight looks like she's going to continue to be sick for a few more days. I wish she could shake this bug... or that her doctor would give a diagnosis... so we could do more to make it go away!

Tonight I made a delicious dinner, and am starting to become more comfortable with Pork... and sauces. My two weaknesses in the kitchen. Pork either turns out too salty or undercooked in my kitchen... I'm learning the fine line.

Tonight we give thanks to the Fresh Market 25th Anniversary Cookbook for inspiration.
Basalmic and Sage glaze over pork medallions served with Asparagus that was pan sauted in this concoction of butter, garlic, rosemary, lemon juice, salt, white pepper and basil before baking with parmesean cheese, which I served with a herb stuffing and assorted cheese and fruit plate.

YUM.

Again, I hope that fits in my diet.... Starting Monday I will be a contestant at my gym's version of Biggest Loser... www.drfatbuster.com - so for the next 12 weeks I will be trying to lose 35 pounds... which will be nice, since I turn 30 in 14 weeks. A date I have decided to embrace and celebrate... all future years will be in reverse... =P Hopefully I will have reached my goal, and can launch into 30-hood with a body and activity level that I can be proud of!

Morgan and I have been on Colonix for a week now, and I am starting to feel better, increasing fiber and water in my diet, flushing toxins out of my body.... great way to launch the workout.

PTA News: We are gearing up for the Spring Fling Carnival, which sounds like it is going to be a great time, hopefully we will make a lot of money. In March we take nominations for new officers, and I'm playing around with the idea of tossing my name in the hat for President. I have a lot of great ideas for 2009-10, and have nowhere to go but up after this year's president. I need to consider the family plan, as if we are to conceive in November, then I would be pregnant for my entire term, and VERY pregnant when wrapping up our fundraising in the spring...

That should be enough catching up for now. Got to wash the dishes and start another load of laundry...

and the juggling resumes!
